On This Day In History: Henry Ford Was Born

Automotive pioneer Henry Ford was born July 30th 1863 in Dearborn Township, Michigan. He was an American industrialist and the founder of the Ford Motor Company. Ford developed an assembly-line production system and introduced a $5-a-day wage for automotive workers, and became the seventh-wealthiest figure of the modern period (net worth of $188–199 billion).  “History is bunk,” he once said.
